Vision: Ministry With Youth, By Youth, For Youth

The St. Paul Church Youth group is here to provide ministry with youth, by youth, for youth. Our members are middle and high-school-age youth, young men and young women, white, black, Latino, and others, from Memphis, Southaven, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, and everywhere in-between. We are a middle and high school youth group organized around three main concepts: community, message, service.

The Youth Group will build community because the teens themselves will determine much of the agenda and the activities that we will be doing, with times for socializing, making new friends, and building relationships that will last a lifetime.

The Youth group will focus on the message of Jesus Christ and his Church. We will provide opportunities for all the youth to deepen their faith and their knowledge of that faith through high-quality catechesis that meets the needs of youth today.

The Youth Group will perform service in the community because the love of Jesus and the promises of our baptism compels us to become servant-leaders who serve others, as Jesus did when he washed the feet of his disciples.
Our youth ministry leaders speak both English and Spanish, and the Youth Group is open to all youth 8th through 12th grades, regardless of language and culture. We hope our Youth Group can build bridges within the diverse community that is St. Paul.
